Wardrobe

The wardrobe is the single menu where players equip everything they own: worn cosmetics, name effect, chat titles and companion. It opens with /garderobe [category] (permission cobaltia.garderobe.utiliser, granted by default).

The menu has 6 rows:

Slot Content
Rows 1 to 5 (45 slots) Owned items of the open category. An equipped item glows and says “click to remove”.
Bottom left Previous page (when needed)
Bottom center Up to 5 category tabs, the active tab is highlighted
Bottom right “Remove all”, “Close”, next page

Clicking an item equips or removes it, then the menu refreshes. An empty category shows a lock inviting the player to unlock items (shop, crates…).

Each category of garderobe.categories has a type:

Type Content Required fields
cosmetique Hats, backpacks… handled by HMCCosmetics emplacement (HMCCosmetics slot: HELMET, BACKPACK…)
effets Owned name effects, with a preview on the player’s name —
titres Chat titles from the “Cobaltia” plugin commande (fallback when titles are unavailable)
compagnons Owned companions —
lien A tab that runs a command (opens another menu) commande
config.yml
garderobe:
categories:
chapeaux:
nom: "Chapeaux"
type: cosmetique
emplacement: HELMET
sacs:
nom: "Sacs à dos"
type: cosmetique
emplacement: BACKPACK
effets:
nom: "Effets de pseudo"
type: effets
titres:
nom: "Titres"
type: titres
commande: titres
compagnons:
nom: "Compagnons"
type: compagnons

The first category in the list opens by default. /garderobe <category> opens a given tab directly (with tab completion).

config.yml
garderobe:
cosmetiques:
adventurer_hat: # ID = HMCCosmetics cosmetic ID
nom: "Chapeau d'aventurier" # name in the menu
categorie: chapeaux # a category of type cosmetique
nexo: adventurer_hat # Nexo item used as the icon (default: the ID)
  • Ownership: permission cobaltia.cosmetique.<id>, granted explicitly (not through a wildcard).
  • Equip / remove: the plugin runs cosmetics apply <id> <player> -s or cosmetics unapply <slot> <player> -s from the console; the “equipped” state is read with the HMCCosmetics placeholder %HMCCosmetics_equipped_<id>%.
  • Creative and spectator: cosmetics are turned off there. The player is warned when switching to one of these modes and cannot equip a new one while staying in it.
  • Without HMCCosmetics, cosmetique tabs show “Wardrobe unavailable”.

The plugin ships a ready-to-use catalog of 58 hats and 20 backpacks, to adapt to your own cosmetics.

/hat give <player> <hat|tous>
/hat remove <player> <hat|tous>
/sac give <player> <backpack|tous>
/sac remove <player> <backpack|tous>
Permission Purpose
cobaltia.garderobe.admin.give Give (adds a permanent permission, works offline)
cobaltia.garderobe.admin.remove Remove (the cosmetic is also unequipped if worn)

The player receives a “new cosmetic” or “cosmetic lost” message when online.

The titres tab relies on the “Cobaltia” plugin title system: it lists owned titles (or titles granted by permission) and the player’s custom title when they have one and the cobaltia.cosmetiques.perso permission.

  • At most two titles can be equipped at the same time; beyond that, the player must remove one.
  • Titles show before the name (%cobaltiaeffets_titres%), except those listed in titres_apres, which show after it (%cobaltiaeffets_suffixe%).
  • titres_badges replaces the rendering of some titles with a badge (glyph) in front of the name.
config.yml
titres_apres:
star: " &f" # the "star" title shows after the name, with this rendering
titres_badges:
vip: "<white></white>"

/cosmetique and /cosmetiques (with or without a plugin prefix) open the wardrobe instead of their original menu. Their admin sub-commands give and titre are not redirected.

The bottom button:

  • in a cosmetic, effects or titles tab: unequips every HMCCosmetics cosmetic and removes the active name effect;
  • in the companions tab: puts away the active companion.
